AURORA, COLORADO -

One of the people killed in Friday's theater shooting in Aurora was an aspiring sports writer.

Jessica Ghawi, who wrote under the name Jessica Redfield, was killed in the attack and her friend was injured.

Her final Twitter posts show her excitement about "The Dark Knight Rises," the Batman film premiere she was in the theater to see at midnight.

"Of course we're seeing Dark Knight. Redheaded Texan spitfire, people should never argue with me. Maybe I should get in on those NHL talks," she wrote.

In response to a friend, her final post read, "MOVIE DOESN'T START FOR 20 MINUTES."

Last month, Ghawi wrote about witnessing a shooting at a mall in Toronto while she was on vacation. In that incident, a man opened fire on people in a food court, killing one and injuring others.

"I was shown how fragile life was on Saturday. I saw the terror on bystanders' faces. I saw the victims of a senseless crime. I saw lives change. I was reminded that we don't know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath," she wrote.
