Man in critical condition after east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -

A man was critically injured in a shooting on the east side Monday night.

Police say the unidentified 24-year-old male was found around 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Forest Manor Avenue. Officers were responding to multiple 911 calls of shots fired, including a caller who mentioned the injured man.

Witnesses told police they saw a dark gray older model Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows speeding away from the shooting scene. The victim was taken to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.
