Free health screenings offered at Indiana Black Expo

INDIANAPOLIS -

Indiana health officials say over $1,000 worth of free health screening and health information and giveaways will be offered at the Black and Minority Health Fair Thursday through Sunday in downtown Indianapolis.

The Indiana State Department of Health says the free screenings include checks for prostate, teeth, body mass index, addiction, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and syphilis. Staff also will offer body health analysis, stroke assessment, lead testing for children and eye exams

The health far will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, 1-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. It's in Hall D of the Indiana Convention Center in conjunction with Indiana Black Expo.
