Day care worker fired for allegedly biting child

Posted: Updated:
NOBLESVILLE -

A Hamilton County day care worker was fired after she allegedly bit a child.

A representative of "The Play School" on Stony Creek Way near SR 37 in Noblesville says a child bit the teacher, who then asked the child if he would like to be bitten.

The child said yes. The woman allegedly bit the boy on his arm, she says, to teach him a lesson.

The day care center sent a letter to parents, saying the teacher admitted "she made a terrible judgment call and a huge mistake."

The parents of the child called police, who continue to investigate.
