Indianapolis teen breaks leg in ATV crash

An Indianapolis teenager broke his leg in an ATV accident Tuesday night in Bartholomew County. Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the accident.

According to officers, the 14-year-old boy was driving an ATV on County Road S. 800 W. in Bartholomew County when he swerved to miss a dog. In the process, the vehicle flipped and landed on him. He was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital with a broken leg.

Indiana Conservation Officers are reminding the public that it is against the law to operate on the roadway in some counties.
