Sections of I-70 in Hancock Co. to close for Saturday work

HANCOCK COUNTY -

Road work will close several sections of Interstate 70 in Hancock County Saturday.

INDOT will close the right lane of eastbound I-70 at 5 a.m. Saturday between mile markers 94.2 and 95.0 for guardrail and other repairs on the south side of the interstate. The road is expected to reopen by 11 a.m. The right eastbound lane between milemarkers 100.5 and 101.7 will also close at 5 a.m. and remain closed until 8 p.m. for asphalt patching.

The left lane will remain open to traffic during each closure.

The right lane of westbound I-70 will also be closed at the Buck Creek bridge (milemarker 96.5) for guardrail replacement and shoulder work. The left lane will remain open to traffic.
