The Fourth of July festivities will take place on Wednesday, July 4. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. This year's theme is "Back to Bloomington-show us your B-town Roots." Parade awards will be given at the courthouse square at 11:15 am.
The Brownsburg Parks Department says they are canceling their fireworks that are scheduled for Wednesday July 4th.
Lions Club Extravaganza runs from July 2nd-July 7th at Arbuckle Acres Park. The 4th of July parade starts at 10 a.m. The route is Odell north to College, west to Green Street and north to Franklin.

Community Unity Celebration and Fireworks in Lapel, scheduled for Saturday, June 30th have been postponed until sufficient rainfall to ensure safety.

This year's festival will feature a great carnival filled with many opportunities for family fun, loads of carnival rides, and once-in- a-lifetime experiences. Kicking off at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, the carnival will feature rides from Family Attractions until midnight. The carnival will open at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, offering discounted passes until 5 p.m. Helicopter rides will operate from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. providing a chance to see Lawrence from a completely different point of view. Friday will be the first day the beer tent will be open, beginning at noon. Live music can be enjoyed from 6 to 11 p.m.
On Saturday, June 30 the carnival will open at 5 p.m., running until midnight. Bands will be playing live music from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Harrison Hill Elementary School located at 53rd and Richardt. It will continue south on Richardt to 47th, then turn east onto 47th to Franklin, turning north and ending at Morris Settle's Community Park.
The carnival will begin Monday, July 2, and run through Saturday, July 7.
The Theme for the parade, which takes place on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. this year, is "Boone County - How Sweet It Is" and the Parade Marshal will be George Donaldson.

The Linton Freedom Festival will run from June 30th-July 7th. There is live entertainment nightly from July 1st-7th and a nightly carnival from the 2nd through the 7th. There is a Freedom Festival Marketplace July2nd-4th. Civilian Ham & Egg Breakfast begins at 6:00am on Independence Day followed by the 107th Freedom Festival Parade 10:00am On this day the carnival opens 6:00pm. Families can enjoy fireworks around 10:30pm.
The Mooresville Fireworks Celebration is on! Come out to Pioneer Park this Wednesday, July 4. Festivities officially begin at 6pm live music and concessions may start as early as 4pm. Skydivers around 8pm, fireworks at dusk. The aquatic center will close at 6pm.

Fireworks in Muncie are still set to go. There are 2 shows. One will be on Saturday at 10pm following a full day festival at Prairie Creek Reservoir. The other, is at 10pm on July 4th, and will be shot off from the Muncie Central High School.
No confirmation yet on fireworks. If set to go, Citizens State Bank will once again sponsor the annual Memorial Park fireworks this year at dusk on the Fourth of July.
According to a post on the bank's Facebook page, the festivities will feature a day full of activities, including a car show, a kids' zone, music, food and games.
Additional precautions over and above those taken during each year's fireworks display will be in effect. Noblesville city personnel will continue to monitor the dry conditions and how they might affect the fireworks display.
To keep people and property safe, the public is asked to avoid the use of any type of fireworks, sparklers, etc.
Holiday World has cancelled its Fourth of July fireworks display.
Monday update: Westfield officials just announced they have decided to go ahead with their professional fireworks display after all. As a result of the recent rain, the higher humidity and with the moisture predicted in the weather forecast, the City's public safety officials believe that the conditions are safe to proceed with the fireworks. City officials cancelled the professional fireworks display for the Westfield Rocks the 4th celebration last Friday.
"We have evaluated the current situation and performed a risk hazard analysis and fortunately the conditions have improved," says Westfield's Chief of Staff, Todd Burtron. "We feel that because of the change in weather conditions, we can provide an exceptional fireworks display for the citizens of Westfield without compromising public safety." According to Burtron, firefighters, along with other city staff and pyrotechnic team members, will be strategically positioned around the site to ensure the public's safety. Please note: the personal use of consumer fireworks are still prohibited.
The Westfield Rocks the 4th celebration will take place on July 4th beginning at 4pm at Asa Bales Park in Westfield. The professional fireworks display will begin at 9:45pm. The main entertainment stage is pleased to welcome both the Jai Baker Band and the Dave & Rae Band this year.
Due to the unusually dry conditions and concern for the safety of citizens, the Town of Yorktown has cancelled the Fireworks Festival at Morrow's Meadow set for June 30, 2012. The Four for the Fourth Run/Walk will continue as planned and the event committee is beefing up efforts for the hydration stations. The afternoon and evening events including: inflatables, games, rock wall, food vendors, In the Company of Cowboys, The Reminisce Band and the Fireworks will not happen. Dates are being evaluated for rescheduling of the festival in part or as a whole.

This is the second largest fundraiser for Lions Park. Food, music and fun begin in the park at 5pm and fireworks scheduled for blast off on July 4, 2012 at 10pm.
