State police say a cement truck tipped over in an Interstate 70 construction zone in western Indiana, landing on a passing vehicle and killing a woman inside.
Police say the cement truck's wheels dropped into a section of wet concrete, causing it to overturn onto a sport-utility vehicle that was stopped or nearly stopped in the next lane.
Police say 73-year-old Margaret Mathews of Indianapolis who was riding in the SUV's back seat died from blunt-force injuries. A 74-year-old man in the front passenger seat was trapped inside for nearly two hours and was taken to a hospital with leg and internal injuries.
The SUV driver wasn't hurt, while the cement truck driver suffered internal injuries from the Tuesday crash about 20 miles east of Terre Haute.
