OWEN COUNTY -
Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a man's report that he was shot Monday night at McCormick's Creek State Park in Owen County.
Peter Raventos, 44, of Bloomington, called the Owen County Sheriff's Department Monday night saying that he had been shot in the back while walking one of the park's trails.
Raventos was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where he is being treated for 22 shotgun pellets under his skin.
Raventos told Conservation Officers with the DNR Division of Law Enforcement he did not know who shot him. Conservation Officers, McCormick's Creek park personnel and Indiana State Police searched the park for a possible suspect but none was found.
