Meridian Street reopens after fire

INDIANAPOLIS -

Meridian Street is now back open at 33rd street after an apartment fire.

25 people in 36 units were evacuated. We're told only one unit was damaged and the resident left for work before the fire started.

Crews estimate nearly $75,000 in damage.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
