INDIANAPOLIS, June 23—WTHR (Channel 13) announced today that it will launch the market's first and only local Spanish language news webcast on Monday, June 25th, 2012. The webcast, ‘13 Eyewitness News en ESPAÑOL', will be recorded in the 13 Eyewitness News studios and provide news updates, weather and sports in Spanish every weekday, available at WTHR.com. The news webcast will be co-anchored by Marco Dominguez and Rossina Lazaneo.

A respected leader in the Indianapolis Latino community, Marco Dominguez was born in Caracas, Venezuela and came to the United States in 1993. He served as an Associate Professor of TV Production at Butler University for ten years and as Station Manager for Univision in Indianapolis.
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Rossina Lazaneo came to the United States in 2003. She earned a Masters Degree in Journalism from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She has also served as a producer at Univision in Indianapolis. While in Uruguay she was a writer for ‘Foodie' magazine, a Spanish language magazine focused on food and cooking.
According to Scarborough research* more Indianapolis adults visit WTHR.com daily, weekly and monthly than any other local television or newspaper website. In May of 2012, WTHR.com earned over 10 million page views and nearly 4 million unique visitors.
