FISHERS -

Fishers Police have one man in custody and they're searching for two others after an armed robbery at a jewelry store Monday morning.

It happened at the Jewelry Gallery at 11597 Allisonville Road. Police say the men should be considered armed and dangerous.

"I would say it was a .45; stuck it in our face, told us to get down on the ground," said Jason Hunter.

The gunmen tied up Jason Hunter and his sole employee, a woman. They emptied the display cases, cash register and safe. Police released surveillance video late Monday afternoon that shows one of the suspects ordering the employees to get on the floor.

"I was saying some prayers. It was pretty intense," said Hunter.

When the pair fled, Hunter ran to officers directing traffic across the street. Police launched a manhunt but it appears the pair got away with an estimated $250,000 in jewelry - while the two workers escaped with their lives.

"You never know. You're face down and thinking - oh my God, this is my last," said Hunter. "Pretty intense. Worried about my family; my daughter."

Police took a man into custody after a traffic stop of a vehicle matching the one used in the robbery. They were questioning the man to determine his connection to the robbery. By 2:00 pm, officers had released their perimeter, with no additional suspects in custody.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

Anyone with information regarding this armed robbery is encouraged to contact Detective Doug Baker at 317-595-3300.
