Jennifer Hudson: no rushing down the aisle

Posted: Updated:
LOS ANGELES -

Jennifer Hudson says she doesn't know where the rumors came from - but wishes they'd stop.

She says there's no truth to the talk that she and her finance are in a hurry to get married. In an interview with E! Entertainment, Hudson says the lack of a wedding date doesn't mean there are problems in her relationship with David Otunga - who was seen by her side during the trial of her former brother-in-law who was convicted recently of killing Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.

Hudson says she and Otunga are "happy" and that "something will happen soon." Hudson also says her career is getting back on track in the aftermath of the murders and trial.

She says she'll start work this summer on her third album - and has a few movie roles in the works.
