GREENWOOD -
Joseph Caporale, 27, of Indianapolis has been arrested and preliminarily charged with bank robbery.
The Huntington Bank at 611 W County Line Road in Greenwood was robbed Friday.
Police say Caporale was recognized after surveillance images from the bank security system were released to local media.
During the investigation GPD detectives found images of Caporale on social media wearing clothing that is believed to have been worn in the robbery.
Greenwood detectives were assisted by members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Indianapolis Metro Police and US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in the arrest Friday evening at a location on the south side of Indianapolis.
Caporale is being held in the Johnson County Jail. His bond is $16,000.
