Amy Winehouse: family selling singer's estate

Posted: Updated:
LONDON -

The home where Amy Winehouse lived - and died - is going up for sale.

The late singer's family is selling the London residence for about $4.2 million dollars. The three-bedroom home in northwest London had become an unofficial shrine after the singer died last July.

Fans left flowers and other tributes to the singer, who died at age 27 of alcohol poisoning.

A spokesman for the family says no one from the family wanted to live in the home, and it was too expensive to keep it up if no one was going to live there.
