HENDRICKS COUNTY -
An overturned semi has shut down lanes of Interstate 74 in Hendricks County.
The accident happened around 5:15 p.m. near the 69 mile marker of I-74 north of Avon. The eastbound lanes of the highway are closed, while one westbound lane is slowly allowing traffic through.
Police say the semi is hauling furniture. A medical helicopter was reportedly requested to the scene and an occupant of the semi may be trapped.
