Three Indianapolis residents were killed in a traffic crash in Kentucky early Saturday.

Kentucky State Police say the driver of a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer failed to negotiate a merge in I-64 east of Louisville as the highway narrowed from three lanes to two. The vehicle left the shoulder and overturned. Three of the four occupants of the vehicle were ejected.

Gabriel Alva Chacon, 29, and 21-year-old Jamie Alva Chacon were pronounced dead at the scene. Regina K. Alva Chacon, 36, was pronounced dead at the University of Louisville Hospital. A juvenile was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Police say all four victims are from Indianapolis.
