Forbes estimates Lopez has made $52 million over the last 12 months, from "American Idol," clothing and perfume lines and endorsement deals. The list also incorporates a celebrity's fame and social media power.
Last year's number one celebrity, Lady Gaga, falls to fifth. Oprah Winfrey is in second, Justin Bieber is third, and Rihanna is fourth.
