Joe Nichols says his wife Heather should have left him long ago. He says in a new episode of GAC's "Backstory" that he's done enough "that's certainly warranted four or five divorces."
Nichols is sober now and the couple recently welcomed their first daughter, Dylan River Nichols. He has a 13-year-old daughter from another relationship as well.
In the show, Nichols also talks about the abusive father who helped send him down the road to alcoholism and the five miscarriages his wife suffered before Dylan's birth.
