IMPD accident investigators arrested a woman suspected of drunk driving after she crashed into Bankers Life Fieldhouse Wednesday night.

Police received reports that a red SUV had crashed into the Fieldhouse building shortly after 7:40 p.m. and found Christina Christian, 41, of Indianapolis, inside. She was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Officers observed signs of possible impairment in her passenger, 39-year-old David Houze of Indianapolis, and requested a DUI investigator to test Christian at the hospital. There she registered above the legal limit of .08 and was arrested.

Christian faces preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing endangerment, an A-level misdemeanor.

The Marion County Prosecutor's office will make a final determination on the filing of formal charges.
