Watchdog finds more leaks at labor board

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

A federal government watchdog says he has discovered even more inside information leaked from the National Labor Relations Board to a former adviser to presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

The board's inspector general says NLRB member Terence Flynn improperly shared early drafts of board decisions and other information on the board's internal deliberations with Peter Schaumber, who advised Romney on labor issues.

The board oversees union elections and labor-management disputes.

The inspector general's report says the incidents came in 2010 and 2011, when Flynn was a staff lawyer for the board.

An earlier report in March said Flynn committed ethical violations by revealing other sensitive information. Flynn has denied any wrongdoing.

Board chairman Mark Pearce says he takes the allegations very seriously.
