Friday, the driver of a Piazza produce truck that slammed into the back of the bus while it was stopped at railroad tracks was issued a citation for texting while operating a motorized vehicle.

Nine students and the bus driver had minor injuries.
It happened at in the 8200 block of Zionsville Road by the railroad tracks. Chief Kasper said the bus was transporting children from Central Elementary School.
The bus had come to a complete stop at the railroad tracks and was about to start crossing over them when it was rear-ended by a Piazza produce truck.
Nine students were taken to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and the bus driver was taken to another local hospital. They complained of head and neck pain, and some were upset and crying. The nine students were later treated and released.
Another nine students on the bus were transferred to another bus and taken home.
The driver of the box truck was not transported to the hospital. Milk was leaking out of the refrigerated truck and crews worked to clean it up.
