INDIANAPOLIS -

Metro police say a child was struck and injured by a vehicle Tuesday morning.

The crash, in the 5500 block of West 34th St. near Moller Rd. was reported at about 7:20 a.m.

Police say the child was transported to Methodist Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The identity of the child was not released. No on else was hurt in the crash.
