INDIANAPOLIS -

If you're looking to donate items to Indiana tornado survivors, some local churches are accepting items to take to southern Indiana.

St. Luke's Church on 86th Street has already delivered two semis full of donated items. The church is still collecting if you want to help. They are looking for household items, gloves, dust masks, personal hygiene items, trash bags and tubs for supplies.

Cash donations are also accepted.

"Like I said during the Super Bowl - Hoosier hospitality. There is just a desire to look after one another and to care for each other. And when people see a need, they want to help," said Rev. Rob Fuquay, St. Luke's Church.

Drop off your donations at St. Luke's Church from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm every day this week.

Also, donations are being collected at the Daybreak Christian Community Church on 1219 Main Street (on Highway 32) in Lapel. They're accepting bottled water, sports drinks, snacks, paper products, etc. from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm every day through Sunday, March 11th. Call Pastor Richard Cole at 765-620-0551 with questions.
