INDIANAPOLIS -

A Cicero company has offered the city nearly a million dollars for some land to build a new senior living facility. The piece of land is on the northeast corner of 16th and Arlington on the city's east side.

The city bought the land, which is part of the old Raytheon site, from the federal government in 2004 for a dollar.

The developer, Main Street, wants to build a senior living healthcare complex. The $15 million project intends to offer a high-end, hotel-like living for seniors.

The city has approved the sale pending an official agreement with the developer.
