Indianapolis' success in hosting Super Bowl XLVI could help it score a big convention.

Executives with a major auto manufacturer liked what they saw, and are now considering Indy for their annual dealers conference.

The Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association tells Eyewitness News that Indianapolis wasn't even under consideration until the Super Bowl.

The auto group was so impressed that it decided to put off selecting the winning city and added Indianapolis to the list of contenders.

ICVA isn't naming the group just yet, but says the convention would be worth millions. It's one of several conventions now eyeing Indianapolis because of the city's exposure during the Super Bowl.
