Conservation officers pulled a body from a Tippecanoe County creek Friday.
The body was discovered by a person canoeing down the South Fork of Wildcat Creek. Officers from the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department, Lafayette Police and Department of Natural Resources responded to the scene.
Two DNR search and rescue divers recovered the body Friday.
The Tippecanoe County Coroner's Office identified the victim Saturday as Kerry Dunsmore, who was reported missing January 26 and was thought to be in an area of Wildcat Creek by the Monitor Bridge. Swift water conditions caused the search to be suspended on February 1.
Dunsmore's body was found in the middle of the creek, upstream from the bridge.
