Crews responded to a two-story building fire on Elmwood Avenue east of Emerson Friday morning. The fire closed Elmwood to regular traffic for about an hour.
The fire call came out shortly before 6:00 a.m. Friday morning.
An address check showed the building serves as offices for several businesses, including a painting company, an accountant, and a supplier of apparatus for the handicapped.
There is no word on a cause of the fire, or reports of injuries.
