Famous faces in crowd at busy airport

Posted: Updated:

We have seen some busy travel days during the holidays, but none of them compared to the crowd arriving recently at Indianapolis International Airport. A lot of famous people are making their way into town.

The first we saw this afternoon could be Peyton's replacement, Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III, who is in town for his first Super Bowl... and a look around the town.

"It will be cool," said Griffin. "Maybe I will meet Peyton, maybe I wouldn't. I have talked to him on the phone many times, so I'm just coming here with an open mind and see what is going to happen."

Griffin is just one of the thousands of people who are shoulder-to-shoulder at our airport, which today was alive with music, too. The biggest act on stage downtown Friday night rolled into town today, party rockers LMFAO.

One of the big questions fans have this weekend is about the weather. The Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams is on assignment in Indianapolis to answer that question. Her forecast? "Looks like a few showers, but it is a dome here."
