Ball State announces 2012 football recruiting class

Ball State second-year head football coach Pete Lembo announced the 2012 recruiting class Wednesday afternoon. The recruiting class features 23 signees from 10 states. The Cardinals signed student-athletes to national letters of intent from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, Missouri, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

"We are very pleased to welcome such a fine group of young men to the Ball State family," Lembo says. "This signing class reflects some outstanding work by our assistant coaches building relationships from the local area to outlying states such as Wisconsin and Florida. We were able to successfully address specific needs at positions such as offensive line, defensive line, wide receiver and safety."
