A 23-year-old man is in critical condition Monday. He's the fifth shooting victim in five days in Kokomo.
A 17-year-old is accused of shooting Taurean Jones in the head Sunday.
Jones underwent surgery at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Police do not believe this crime is related to the shooting of four people on Wednesday and Thursday. Two people died and two others were critically injured.
A friend told police that suspect Turama Stitts was off his medication for several days. The suspect told police he believed the victims were trying to kill him.
