Bret Michaels performed a concert for thousands on Georgia Street.
The Capitol Ave. zipline ran well into the night.Former Poison front man Bret Michaels rocked the stage in front of a packed Super Bowl Village Friday night.
"It's a great feeling for me, 25 years, getting to what I love to do, playing music. So thank you, Indy, for rockin'," Michaels said.
"I'm from the 80s, so you gotta love the Poison, right?" said Christine Rassel of Indianapolis.
But Michaels wasn't the only sound coming from thousands of entertained fans downtown.
"This was amazing. Just did the zipline and it was awesome," said Matt Stewart of Indianapolis.
"You could see a whole bunch of people under you and you went so fast. It was fun," said Nate Stewart.
"It's a ball. It's great," said Renel Lee of Indianapolis.
No one was keeping score, though. This was a Super Bowl celebration.
"This will probably never ever happen again in my lifetime," said Lynne Mitchell of Indianapolis.
"It's Super Bowl and it's Indianapolis," said Katrina Beck of Bargersville.
Everyone, including the Circle City, came away feeling like a winner.
"Our city is really shining," said John McMitchell of Indianapolis.
