People with long hair of all ages lined up early Wednesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for the Disney on Ice "Dare to Dream" show - but to get in they had to give up some hair.

Disney partnered with Wigs-4-Kids to raise and donate hair to Riley Children's Hospital.

In exchange for their lengthy locks, donors received four "Dare to Dream" tickets. The event features musical numbers, professional ice-skating and Disney Princesses.

Many of the donors were excited to see the ice spectacle, but the tickets weren't their primary motive.

Three-time hair donor Samantha Angle was taking her children to see the show Thursday and said that as a mother, "If my daughter were to get sick and lose her hair, I would hope that someone out there would do the same thing."

Molly Greer, who is still in elementary school, explained why she was excited to donate the hair she had left uncut for four years."Helping other kids...and I really like the hairstyles" Molly said.

"The Ice Skating Spectacular" is performing downtown until January 22nd before continuing on tour. The storylines feature Cinderella, Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, and Rapunzel from the most recent film Tangled.

I'm most excited to see "Rapunzel, because she had long hair and it was gold, pretty much like mine" said Molly Greer. The performer playing the lovable, long-haired Princess in the production made an guest appearance to "personally thank everyone for being here and giving their hair donation" said Disney spokesperson, Lisa Finch.

Over two dozen children and adults donated hair and received tickets on Wednesday. There were smiles all around as young children felt the back of their heads and were handed four tickets.

Samantha Angle said she'll do it all again in the future and Molly Greer also plans on becoming a a regular donor.
