Antonio Green's 3-pointer with 3 seconds left propelled Eastern Michigan to a 51-48 victory over Ball State on Saturday.
Quintin Dailey scored 13 points and Green 11 for the Eagles (7-10, 2-1 Mid-American), who outscored Ball State 8-0 over the final 2:11.
Jarrod Jones paced the Cardinals (10-5, 2-1) with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds. Randy Davis added 11 points for Ball State, whose winning streak ended at four.
The Cardinals went ahead 14-13 on two free throws by Chris Bond with 6:35 left in the first half, and they stayed in front until late in the game.
Davis' free throw put Ball State up 48-43 with 2:11 left. Dailey drained a 3-pointer three seconds later, then made two free throws to tie it at 48 with 1:41 to go.
But Jones missed a dunk with 24 seconds left, and Eastern Michigan capitalized with Green's 3-pointer.
