The parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer are saying new information has been uncovered regarding the investigation.

Robert and Charlene Spierer told a New York TV station the investigator they hired has uncovered new information in their daughter's disappearance, but would not share what that information is.  They went on to say the holiday season has been emotional and tough.

20-year-old Lauren was last seen in the early morning hours June 3, walking home alone after a night of partying.
