INDIANAPOLIS -

Rolling Stone magazine and rum maker Bacardi say they plan to throw a star-studded bash the night before the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Star reports the party will be held Feb. 4 at a renovated factory two blocks west of Lucas Oil Stadium. The party will be open to 2,000 guests of the hosts, plus others who pay $1,000 for a ticket.

The names of featured entertainers weren't disclosed, but the Star says Rolling Stone has promised platinum-selling musical talent.

The Super Bowl party will be the first hosted by Rolling Stone. Rolling Stone publisher Matthew Mastrangelo says the party will be a "spectacular event."

The Star says some pregame Super Bowl parties have been so popular their locations aren't publicly announced.

Tickets are available now through The Crane Bay by calling 317-876-3338.
