Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o says he will return for his senior season.

Te'o made the announcement at Sunday night's Lott IMPACT Trophy dinner in Newport Beach, Calif., according to a release issued by the school.

Te'o leads the team with 115 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 4 1/2 sacks heading into the Champs Sports Bowl on Dec. 29 against Florida State. He was a finalist for the Butkus Award and Lott Trophy this year.
