INDIANAPOLIS -

How would you like to be a part of Super Bowl weekend and get paid for it? There are thousands of jobs in and around Lucas Oil Stadium that need be filled. Four local companies have been contracted to hire locals.

Janelle Henson interviewed with Super Bowl reps today at one of the local companies - Knowledge Services.

"Yes, it would be cool to be around the festivities," Henson said immediately after her interview. "But for me, it would be a resume builder. The biggest event comes to your town and you've got to have it!"

Similar to Knowledge Services, BCforward needs to hire 600 people for about 60 different types of jobs. The work includes parking attendants, ushers, security, administrative assistants and mobility assistants. Director of Marketing Steven Shattuck says the work pays $10-15 an hour and some jobs start right after the first of the year.

"We want people who are passionate about Indy, number one. We want football fans and people who are enthusiastic," said Shattuck. "A lot of young people are interested in these jobs but there aren't age requirements. I think we've already had a few in their 60s or 70s, just really excited about Indy and football."

S.A.F.E. Management needs security and guest service representatives and are looking for 2,000 people for five to six weeks of work. LGC Hospitality is hiring several hundred people for customer service, food service and event support.

Some of the jobs require experience, but not all of them.

Henson says the interview wasn't bad at all, and she finds out in just two days if she got the job.

"I think it went well," she said. "I saw a lot of smiles and we'll see on Friday!"

Most of these jobs can be applied for online.
