WASHINGTON D.C. -

Hollis Thompson had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Henry Sims added 14 and Nate Lubick had eight points and a career-high 14 rebounds as Georgetown pulled away from IUPUI in the second half for a convincing 81-58 win Monday night.

The Hoyas (5-1) led at halftime 32-31, and scored the first 10 points of the second half to go up 42-31. Jason Clark, who leads Georgetown in scoring with 19 points per game, had just one in the first half. He hit two free throws to start the second-half run. Markel Starks, who had 13 points, and Lubick each had two field goals during the spree.

The Jaguars (2-5) led for nearly all the first half. Alex Young, a 6-foot-6 senior forward, whose presence drew 10 NBA scouts in the half-empty Verizon Center, scored IUPUI's first 10 points. He made his first three shots, had 16 at halftime, but missed 11 of his last 12 and was scoreless in the second half.
