Police in Fort Wayne are warning school-aged children in the city not to walk alone after a possible abduction attempt.
The News-Sentinel reports that police say a girl reported that a man walking behind her about 7:15 a.m. Monday grabbed her by the arm and hair. The girl told police she was able to escape after she screamed and struck and kicked the man.
About 15 minutes earlier, a group of students said a man approached them at a bus stop and began asking them questions about where they lived. Students reported that he left when the school bus approached. The students reported that the subject's behavior made them feel uncomfortable.
Police searched both areas, but did not find anyone.
