INDIANAPOLIS -

The next time you go downtown, you'll be able to check out a new 3,300-square-foot mural.

Crews were working Friday on the massive art installation on the Union Station train shed at the Illinois Street underpass. They're expected to finish in the afternoon.

It's part of the 46 for Super Bowl XLVI murals program to help greet the thousands of visitors to the city for Super Bowl in February.

"I'm really excited about being part of this project. I think there will be a lot of people here in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl. We are all very excited about it and I look forward to the visitors to Indianapolis enjoying or partaking in the work," said artist Artur Silva.

When completed, the mural, entitled "The Death of Ambition," will be 26 feet high and 106 feet long. It's made of a semi-permanent material commonly used for outdoor advertising and should last a few years.
