Condoleeza Rice will sign new book at Indiana GOP HQ

Updated:

INDIANAPOLIS - Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is coming to Indianapolis to sign copies of her new memoir.

The Indiana Republican Party says that the former top adviser to President George W. Bush will visit the party's headquarters Nov. 16. Rice's book "No Higher Honor" comes out Tuesday.

State GOP chairman Eric Holcomb has brought a string of high profile Republicans to the state with the aim of energizing his party for next week's mayoral elections and the 2012 statewide elections.

Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan headlined the party's fall fundraiser in October. And some Republican presidential contenders have campaigned in Indianapolis, including former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
