BLOOMINGTON - Police in Bloomington are investigating the death of an Indiana University student.
IU police chief Keith Cash says an 18-year-old male was discovered dead in Read Residence Center Wednesday evening.
The student, a freshman, was found by his roommate, according to Cash.
Chief Cash says their investigation hasn't discovered any indication of foul play. Several reports indicate that police suspect it was a suicide.
The identity of the student is being withheld. Cash says officers are attempting to contact the student's family.
A determination of cause of death is pending a coroner's investigation, according to police.
