PITTSBORO - Hendricks County police say two men currently held in the Boone County jail are being investigated for a crime that was captured on tape.
Lt. James Yetter told Eyewitness News they believe the pair were caught on a home surveillance camera system burglarizing a home recently near Pittsboro.
Yetter says Jared H. Wells, 19, Danville, and Derek J. Wethington, 22, were arrested Saturday in Boone County on charges not related to the Hendricks County incident. Both remain jailed in Boone County, where Wells is charged with minor consuming and Wethington is charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Yetter says each men face charges of Burglary and Theft in Hendricks County, with bonds of $50,000 each.
