VILLA HILLS, Ky. - A mother and daughter from northern Kentucky are among those injured when a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair.

Shannon Walcott and her 10-year-old daughter, Jade, of Villa Hills had gone to the fair Saturday to see the band Sugarland.

About 80 people attended a prayer vigil held for the two on Sunday at Fort Mitchell Baptist Church, according to the Kentucky Enquirer. Kaelyn Gray, who is Jade's dance teacher, addressed the crowd.

Gray spoke of Jade's "poise and grace," and said she hopes the girl who has "such a zest for life with big dreams" recovers from her injuries.

Five people were killed when the stage collapsed Saturday as high winds raked the fairgrounds.
