INDIANAPOLIS - A well-known fitness expert is introducing a new exercise concept.

Flowetry is the concept of national fitness expert Jennifer Galardi, who's sold over 100,000 copies of various workout DVDs. She also works as fitness expert on workout videos for celebrities, including Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian and Julianne Hough. She says we should never compare ourselves with the stars.

"They are all very busy, but they have nannies and trainers and they have people telling them what to do. It's a lot harder when you are doing this on your own," Galardi said.

Recognizing it's tough, Galardi wants to inspire you to work out in a way that works for you. She's teaching four classes in Indianapolis, featuring Flowetry.

"I want to kind of bring the joy that I found in yoga to other people through kind of rhythmic sense of dance," Galardi said. "It's more fun than, like Warrior One, Warrior Two, and I think people think they are almost, like, dancing."

The concept is the basis for a new DVD she will shoot in two weeks, which will be introduced nationwide in Self magazine in September.

"I think it's more flowing. You get the kick a lot better, because compared to extra classes, you don't have that kind of 'umph' and this class, you do," said Courtney Hill.

"It is more fun. It's flowing movement the entire time, so it's almost like a dance routine than just exercise," said Kimberly Sapp.

Local instructor Molly Tittle incorporates some of the moves in her classes, saying it's simply "yoga with a kick and bop, you know, because you are moving to the music."

Galardi isn't pushing to be the next fad, rather, it is promoting a lifestyle. Find a workout you enjoy, then keep that healthy mindset when the workout is over and it's time to eat.

Galardi will be in Indianapolis teaching Ballet Body Wednesday at Invoke at 5:45 p.m. and Flowetry Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at ReForm Movement and Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Invoke.
