INDIANAPOLIS, March 23—The February Nielsen demographics re-affirm WTHR/Channel 13's leadership in the major local news time periods including weekday mornings, evening news and 11pm news. WTHR ranked #1 in adult 25-54 demos in all key head-to-head local news time periods.

Eyewitness News Sunrise at 5am increased its share among adults 25-54 by 9% over the November '10 sweeps, posting its highest ratings since February, 2010. Sunrise was 27% ahead of closest competitors WISH and WXIN. At 5:30am, WTHR's Sunrise newscast was 50% ahead of the nearest competitor, WISH. And at 6am, WTHR's dominance continued with a 22% lead over the nearest competitor, WXIN, and a 43% lead over third-place WISH.

From 5-6pm, WTHR easily beat both WRTV and WISH combined in adults 25-54, where it also showed a 9% gain in women 25-54. At 6pm, Eyewitness News had its strongest showing in a year, holding an incredible 95% advantage over #2-ranked WISH and a 26% advantage over WISH and WRTV combined. WTHR also increased its share of women 25-54 by 19% over November, 2010.

WTHR's dominance continued with a 46% advantage over #2 WISH among adult 25-54 11pm news viewers and has grown in women 25-54 by 18%.

Overall, in adults 25-54, WTHR won the following time periods:

· #1 Eyewitness News at 5am

· #1 Eyewitness News at 5:30am

· #1 Eyewitness News at 6am

· #1 Eyewitness News at 5pm

· #1 Eyewitness News at 5:30pm

· #1 Eyewitness News at 6pm

· #1 Eyewitness News Nightbeat at 11pm

All ratings based on February 2011 Nielsen Station Index Viewers in Profile Report, Indianapolis, Indiana, Adult 25-54 demographic except as indicated. Share comparisons are vs. November 2010.
