Parks and Rec shot at Indiana Statehouse airs Thursday

New York - Indianapolis makes a prime time appearance Thursday night on NBC.

An episode of the popular show Parks and Recreation, parts of which were shot here in Indianapolis, airs tonight (Feb. 24, 2011).

In May, the show was shot at the Indiana Statehouse. Eyewitness News filmed extras playing into the plot involving the fictional Indiana town of Pawnee.

In Thursday night's episode, Amy Poehler's character, Leslie, gets an award at the Statehouse.

Watch it on Channel 13 tonight at 9:30 pm.
