$46.5M share of lottery prize still unclaimed

Updated:

Munster - Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Munster is $46.5 million richer, but hasn't claimed the jackpot yet.

Hoosier Lottery officials say the holder of a winning Mega Millions ticket hasn't come forward to claim half of a $93 million jackpot. A group of U.S. Postal Service workers from Romulus, Mich., shared the other half of the prize.

The ticket was sold Feb. 1 at Strack & Van Til supermarket in Munster. It was one of two nationwide to match all six numbers, 6-22-23-26-35 and Mega Ball 31.

Officials are urging the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket immediately and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service.

Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim prizes.
