YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) - Jarrod Jones scored 15 points to lead Ball State to a 60-51 victory over Eastern Michigan Wednesday night.
Randy Davis scored 11 points, Jauwan Scaife scored 10, and Malik Perry grabbed 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (12-4, 4-0 Mid-American), who have won six in a row.
Brandon Bowdry, who sat out Eastern Michigan's previous game, returned and scored 26 points for the Eagles (4-13, 1-3). The school said he was suspended for Sunday's 65-48 loss at Western Michigan for conduct detrimental to the team.
Bowdry was 10 for 24 from the field, and had 2 of the Eagles' three 3-pointers. No other Eastern Michigan player scored more than five points.
